Amber + Colin | Wedding at Little Piney Lodge in Hermann MO

Amber & Colin’s days had finally arrived. I have been excited about this day since she told us. I might be a little bias as she is my cousin. I remember babysitting her and her sister when they were little and always hanging out every family get together. Amber has an amazing personality and you can’t help but love her. When she met Colin you could tell they fit together like a glove. They started there family first with their amazing little girl and now they are husband and wife. 

Their wedding started off with a down pour and their best man heading to the ER. But that wasn’t going to stop them. Within a few hours the rain disappeared and the best man came back with a boot on his foot the rest of the wedding went off without a hitch. Amber wanted an Old Hollywood style look for hair and make-up and man did she rock it!

Little Piney Lodge is a beautiful venue just a little outside Hermann MO. With a big lodge for the bridal party to get ready in and a nice cabin for the guys. There is a small lake with a beautiful dock and a couple boats that we had to get photos with. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Along with their new indoor reception area this is must to look at for your wedding. 

Their ceremony was moved from in front of the lake to underneath the outdoor pavilion which was still beautiful! After the ceremony their was a surprised visit from Amber’s favorite animal, Lama’s! She tried renting them for her wedding but they were booked. Her sister and mom was able to surprise her and that they did. Next up was a surprise to Amber’s dad. He has been a huge believer in Big Foot (Sasquatch) and of course they had to have an appearance!!!!

I knew these two families knew how to have fun and that they did. Colin’s Family does this thing at every family wedding where the bride is on the dance floor and holds up her dress and legs apart. The groom starts with a running start and slides underneath her and through her legs. Next up is the rest of his family and this went on for a while.
